Tuition Based Students

The Hawthorne Board of Education will be accepting applications from non-resident parents or legal guardians for the admission of their children to the regular education program on a space available tuition basis. This will apply to pupils who are eligible for admission to any grade in Hawthorne High School only. 

The tuition rate for this program is based on the district's per pupil tuition rate determined by the state.
The current tuition rates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows.

PreSchool / Kindergarten:  $14,707
Grades 1-5:  $16,203
Grade 6-8:  $15,785
Grades 9-12:  $16,725
**Tuition rates for other special education programs are available upon request
